Ireland as a Country

Ireland is a neighboring country of the United Kingdom and is one of the wealthiest countries in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Over the last few years, Ireland has emerged as a preferred destination for Indian students. In 2012, the total number of international students studying in Ireland was 32,000. Out of these 32,000 international students, 2000 were from India. 80% of the students were enrolled in Ph.D. and Master’s Degree courses with the most popular courses as finance, data analytics, and computing.
